Iam proud of our Democracy, But Iam failed to understand whenever elections knocks it's door. In the last elections I voted a person who committed to then political party for decades. When the results announced to my utter astonishment he joined another party by showing victory symbol.
Politically three years over. Even a candidate who is appearing for UPSC or Civil Services exams will not say exactly which Public Representative belongs to which party. Why because recently our honourable Chairman of Rajyasabha anguished about Anti defection Law loosing it's spirit when governments are supporting aye raams for their existence. At the same time he disqualified two of his house members with out consulting concerned committee by saying it is waste of time. Iam unable to understand this democratic act.
Now come to RK Nagar By-election. The concluded byelection recorded a good number of poll percentage. But what about the video of Amma that circulated in social media? The ECI in its usual manner sent notices to X,Y and Z.
In Gujarat, Himachal Pradesh elections also it sent notices from A to W. Results announced. Parties enjoying both moral, ethical victories. Very soon the winner is going to form Government. But what happened to the notices to A to W? Once again Iam failed.
Recently I went to Chhattisgarh on my personal work. There I accidently met a person from Central Forces. He proudly said that because of their presence only the state developed in all fronts. I asked him about elected public representatives participation. He stared at me and replied, 'without our permission they will not come out of their houses.' Iam unable to understand this becuase Iam a wrong voter in the right democracy.
